Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth operation, security and
maintenance of the museum and grounds. This includes management of business transactions related to operations, supervision of independent contractors, care of the permanent collection, installation and dismantling of temporary exhibitions, supervision of the security and maintenance staff. In addition, technical knowledge of computers, audio visual, and security systems, a basic
understanding of mechanical and engineering systems to include electrical, HVAC, and environmental conditions.

Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, assist in set-up of museum programs often requiring physical moving and lifting in excess of 50 lbs, be flexible to work in a team environment, and be organized and self-motivated. Occasional evening and weekend hours. Art background and museum experience preferable.
