Visitor Information

We will be closed to the public through January 31, 2022, we look forward to seeing you in February.

Visitors will need to obtain a free timed-entry pass to enter the Museum.

Proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of a same-day negative COVID-19 test, is required for all individuals 12 and older to visit The Kreeger Museum.
Masks are required at all times for visitors regardless of vaccination status in all indoor spaces at The Kreeger Museum.
Proof of a negative same-day COVID-19 test must come from a health care provider. Results from a self-administered COVID-19 test will not be accepted.



We follow DC Health safety procedures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our visitors and staff.

Timed Entry

Visitors must make reservations to visit in advance. 
You will have up to 50-minutes in the galleries. Please plan to arrive on time; extensions cannot be made for late arrivals.

Masks Required
Visitors are still required to wear masks while inside the Museum.

Social Distancing
Please practice physical distancing by staying at least six feet away from anyone not in your group.

More Visitor Information

Free parking is available at the Museum. The parking lot is accessible via the gate marked Service Entrance.

Backpacks, large bags, and strollers are not permitted in the galleries.

Accessing the Lower Level galleries requires navigating approximately 30 stairs; no elevator is available.

No re-entry to the building is permitted from the Sculpture Garden.

The Kreeger Museum's policies may change as we continue to follow local and national recommendations.
