The Serie Mallorca is the first series of etchings done by Miró. They were executed in Mallorca. There are nine groups of subjects, each with a finished etching, a black and white etching, a technical negative, and a decomposition of color print, plus a title page, making a total of 37 works. Five of the complete sets have an original gouache. The Kreeger Serie Mallorca, which has the accompanying gouache, is the only complete set in the United States and was the third set made.
