Advanced registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome.
Please note that The Kreeger Museum will close at 12:00pm on January 11th, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Public Health and Safety:
Masks are not required, but are encouraged. If you feel unwell or have a fever, please reschedule your visit for another time.
The Kreeger Museum's policies may change as we continue to follow local and national recommendations to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff.
A limited amount of free parking is available in the Museum's parking lot. Parking is not allowed in the forecourt.
The closest Metro stop is Tenleytown-AU and the nearest bus stops are on the D2, D6, and N4 lines.
Food and drink (including water bottles) are not permitted in the galleries.
Umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks, notebooks, sketchpads, pens, pencils, and markers are not permitted in the galleries.
Strollers are not permitted inside the Museum, but are welcome in the Sculpture Garden.
Non-flash photography for personal use is allowed at the Museum, except where otherwise noted. No commercial photography is permitted anywhere in the Museum or on Museum grounds. Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, separate/detachable flash units, and other large photographic accessories are not allowed.
Requests for thirty-minute photo shoot sessions, for personal use only, may be made for Mondays between 9:00am and 4:00pm. All requests are subject to Museum and staff availability and should be submitted at least 5 business days before the requested date. There is a $500 fee to cover the cost of opening the Museum and providing security for each photoshoot.

The main level of the Museum, Sculpture Terrace, and restroom are wheelchair accessible.
Paved portions of the Sculpture Garden are wheelchair accessible, and can be accessed via the Garden Gate in the forecourt.
Reaching the lower galleries requires navigating approximately 30 stairs.
