Meditation in the Galleries

Meditation: $30
Meditation + Museum Admission: $45

Join instructor Jeneen Piccuirro for a forty-five minute guided meditation with crystal singing bowls in our indoor Terrace Gallery. Seating will be provided, so please mark on your reservation if you prefer a chair or a mat. Water bottles and yoga mats are not permitted inside the Museum.

Meditation will take place in our indoor Terrace Gallery featuring works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, and more. 

Please arrive on time, as meditation begins promptly at 10:00am. The front doors will open at 9:50am for meditation participants so that everyone can be seated by 10:00am. To maintain a meditative environment for all participants, late arrivals will not be admitted into the program.

About the Artist

Jeneen Piccuirro is a professional artist, teacher, belly dancer, and certified yoga teacher who has apprenticed with master sound healers from across the world. The recipient of an undergraduate degree in art and an MFA in painting, she specializes in innovative, creative approaches to integrating dance, sound, healing, art, and meditation. Jeneen has taught at American University, Georgetown University, Swarthmore College, Dartmouth College, Chautauqua Institute, Washington Studio School, and The Kreeger Museum, to name a few. She currently leads immersive art, yoga, meditation, dance, and sound healing workshops and retreats in the DMV and abroad.
