This print is related to Rupert Garcias' Los Dos Perros y Abu Graib, 2005-2006.  About this piece he said:

"During the invasion and occupation of Iraq, American soldiers and CIA agents captured and tortured a number of prisoners. This included the infamous water boarding interrogation technique that was clearly a violation of human rights. The media exposed these horrendous torture techniques including a now famous photo of a hooded Iraqi prisoner standing on a bench or platform being tortured. The torture took place in a detention center called Abu Ghraib. It is an amazing picture. It motivated me to do my own image of this figure, which I called Los Dos Perros y Abu Graib. It's a triptych with the center piece showing my version of the hooded prisoner..."
