Out of Bounds
Curator and Artists in Conversation

Saturday, November 14 | 2:30pm-3:30pm

Photography by Vivian Marie Doering.

Registration is included with the price of Museum admission above. Seating space is limited, so advanced registration is encouraged.

Join us for a conversation with Out of Bounds featured artists and Hamiltonian Artists alumni Selin Balci, Joyce Yu-Jean Lee, Christie Neptune, Allison Spence, and Jing (Ellen) Xu, facilitated by Guest Curator Anisa Olufemi.

Taken together, their works suggest that the boundaries we encounter—between disciplines, histories, and ways of seeing—are not as fixed as they appear. In this conversation, the artists will discuss the works featured in Out of Bounds and consider how their broader practices transform these boundaries into sites of friction, negotiation, and possibility.

Please note: Parking onsite is limited. The use of rideshare is strongly encouraged.

This conversation will take place on the Lower Level and requires the use of approximately 30 stairs.
