Color Memories of Spring

Join us for an art workshop in the Sculpture Garden, where participants will explore color mixing with watercolors. During this workshop, participants will learn how to mix paint to create their own watercolor charts and explore different properties of watercolor using the garden as inspiration. All skill levels are welcome.
Please wear shoes that will be comfortable in the garden.
In the case of rain, this workshop will move indoors.
Limited, two-hour parking is available in the museum lot, with additional accessible parking in the forecourt.
About the Artist

Anjelika Deogirikar Grossman is a Washington, DC educator, activist artist, and researcher. A FY25 grantee of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ Fellowship Program, Anjelika is an artist-in-residence at the Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she regularly teaches free, online watercolor classes. Her creative practice bridges mediums exploring watercolor painting, mixed media, collage, and textile arts. Learn more at AnjelikaArt.com.
