Valentine's Watercolor Calligraphy
with Anjelika Deogirikar Grossman

Materials fee: $25

In this art workshop, participants will explore how they can transform their own handwriting into calligraphy! During this workshop, participants learn how they can use watercolor calligraphy for greeting cards, postcards, and envelopes. Participants will leave with their own alphabet sampler and mail to send to loved ones near or far! (Bring your own postage stamps!) All skill levels are welcome.

Please note: The workshop will be held in our education studio on the lower level and requires approximately 30 steps to access.

About the Artist

Anjelika Deogirikar Grossman is a Washington, DC educator, activist artist, and researcher. A FY25 grantee of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ Fellowship Program, Anjelika is an artist-in-residence at the Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she regularly teaches free, online watercolor classes. Her creative practice bridges mediums exploring watercolor painting, mixed media, collage, and textile arts. Learn more at AnjelikaArt.com.
