We are delighted to welcome visitors back into the galleries, beginning on September 23. 

The safety and well being of our visitors and staff is our top priority. We have adjusted our visitor experience to include additional safety measures.

A Unique Gallery Experience
Spend up to 50 minutes alone in the galleries with your group. Visitors will need to obtain a free timed-entry pass to enter the Museum. Each timed-entry session is limited to a single household group or quarantine pod that will be able to enjoy the galleries with only their group during their 50-minute window. Advanced reservations are required.

Visitors are required to wear masks at all times. No masks are required for children 3 and under.

Timed entry sessions are scheduled for:
o 10:00-10:50am
o 11:00-11:50am
o 2:00-2:50pm
o 3:00-3:50pm
Group size is limited to ten visitors per household group.

The Sculpture Garden is currently open by reservation only, through September 22.

 Visitor Guidelines

Timed Entry
Visitors must make reservations to visit in advance. 
No one without a reservation will be allowed entry.
 
Masks Required
Visitors are required to wear masks at all times. No masks are required for children 3 and under.
 
Social Distancing
Please practice physical distancing by staying at least six feet away from anyone not in your household group. Groups should remain together. Children must stay with adults at all times.
 
Stay Home If You Are Sick
If you feel unwell or have a fever, please reschedule your visit for another time.
 
Enhanced Cleaning Measures
We are maintaining an increased cleaning schedule. All benches and trash receptacles have been removed from the grounds.

Advanced reservations are required.
 We are unable to accept walk-up visitors.

Free parking is available at the Museum. The parking lot is accessible via the gate marked Service Entrance.

Sculpture Garden-Only Guidelines
(through Tuesday, September 22)

Much like at a park, visitors should be prepared to be on their feet the entire time and should check the weather forecast before arriving. 

The Museum is not able to provide water. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own bottled water.

All indoor amenities, including bathrooms, are closed.

Timed Entry sessions will be cancelled if heavy rain, storms, or a heat advisory is expected. You will receive an email notification in the event your reservation is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Guides will not be available for interpretive services. 

Lockers, closets, and luggage storage are not available. We cannot offer wheelchairs.

Gallery Visit Guidelines
(beginning Wednesday, September 23)
Visitors should arrive promptly for their entry time. Extensions will not be made for late arrivals.

Groups should remain together and children must stay with adults at all times

Visitors will enter through the main entrance at the beginning at the designated time and exit the building into the Sculpture Garden at the end of their 50-minute timed-entry session.

Sculpture Garden hours are 10:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

The Sculpture Garden is accessible only by visitors exiting the building. No re-entry to the building is permitted from the Sculpture Garden

The Great Hall, Terrace Gallery, and Lower Level Galleries are currently open on TRACES is on view in the Lower Level Galleries

Strollers, backpacks and large bags are not permitted in the galleries; lockers, closets, and luggage storage are not available.

Accessing the Lower Level galleries requires navigating approximately 30 stairs; no elevator is available and we are unable to offer wheelchairs at this time.

One restroom is available, accessible only by visitors while inside the building. Visitors will not be able to re-enter the building to use the restrooms.

 

The Kreeger Museum's policies may change as we continue to follow local and national recommendations.
