School Programs

The Museum offers a range of unique, interactive educational experiences for K-12 students that encourage and deepen students' appreciation of art, architecture, and music. Each experience highlights a different aspect of the permanent collection, making concepts and content accessible through specialized tours and hands-on workshops led by teaching artists.

Our specialized tours and hands-on workshops inside the galleries are on pause at present. Contact [email protected] to inquire about private museum visit options (self-guided).

We are grateful for the support of partners who share our goal of reaching the entire Washington, DC, community. During the 2018-19 school year, 80 percent of schools that participated in our education programs were recipients of Title I funding.
