Watercolor Memories of Fall

Materials fee: $30
Painting in the Kreeger Sculpture Garden, participants will explore color mixing with watercolor. During this workshop, participants will learn how to mix paint to create their own watercolor charts and explore different properties of watercolor taking inspiration from the gardens. All skill levels are welcome.
Please wear shoes that you would be comfortable walking on uneven dirt covered surfaces in the garden.
In the event of inclement weather, this workshop will move inside.
Parking onsite is extremely limited. The use of rideshare is strongly encouraged.
About the Artist

Anjelika Deogirikar Grossman is a Washington, DC educator, activist artist, and researcher. She is an Artist-in-Residence at Georgetown University Hospital Arts & Humanities Program. In 2026, Anjelika co-founded District Collage, a creative community of practice for collage-making in Washington, DC. Interested in the connection between culture, community building, and public policy, she explores: How might arts and culture build understanding and communities of belonging?
