Painting Jazz: An Acrylic Painting Workshop

Saturday, March 28th | 11:00am-12:30pm

Materials fee: $25

Throughout history, artists have attempted to turn sound and music into something visible. Get ready to move and groove and visually translate the energy, rhythm, and improvisation of jazz music onto surfaces, using acrylic paint, vibrant colors, bold strokes, and abstract or cubist forms. Have fun and get experimental in capturing the spontaneous, passionate, feeling of the music.

Please note: The workshop will be held in our education studio on the lower level and requires approximately 30 steps to access.
